Chyaharie Rinea Williams (Private Arrangements)

Chyaharie “Chy” Williams, was born October 11, 1991 in Denver, Colorado to Lucritha Williams and Lawrence Rice. However her father figures were her step father Quincy Jones and uncle Brian Williams. She was the last born of four, two boy and two girls. As a child, Chy was well known for her smooth chocolate complexion, head full of hair, feisty attitude, her unique way of talking (Swahili is what her Uncle Wayne used to call it), and being spoiled rotten by almost everyone she came in contact with. She always got what she wanted hence her family nickname “Juke”. She had a natural way of drawing people to her. Like her god parents Lolita and Herbert who loved her like their own from the day they laid eyes on her. Chy attended Denver Public schools along with her siblings. During this time she was reunited with her childhood sweetheart Raukeen Horton. Born unto this union were Aniylah, Raukeen Jr., Ladaevion, and Sareal. Nothing meant more to Chy than being a mom. She adored spending endless hours entertaining and being entertain by her children. From sports, to movies, to random outings, she made sure to make unforgettable memories. They gave her a sense of purpose and were often times her voice of reason. Throughout the years She had taken to many of the same trades as her mother such as caring for the elderly, doing hair, her love for music and simply just being a mother. To know Chy was to know there was nothing “shy” about her. She carried a nurturing spirit of joy, laughter, and spontaneity. She was also a force to be reckoned with. She was loyal, a protector and supporter by nature, also something she inherited from her mother. No matter what it was you knew she would have your back and would always put you first, just ask her sister. Although life wasn’t always easy, Chy put her faith in God, trusted the process and lived life to the fullest. On July 29, 2020, Chyaharie ascended from this earthly realm. She is proceeded in death by her mother Lucritha Williams, brothers Tyson and Bryson Williams, grandfather Melvin Williams, and uncle JH Adams (her papa). She leaves to cherish her memory her children Aniylah, Raukeen Jr., Ladavion, and Sareal, her grandmother Charlsie Williams, Her sister Arjanea Williams, uncles: Brian Williams, Melvin Williams, Franklin (Cynthia) Williams, Anthony (Andre) Williams. Aunts: Sherrie Reaves, Charnika Williams, and god parents Lolita and Herbert Ray. And a host of great aunts, uncles, cousins friends and relatives.
