With profound sorrow, we share the news of Jermar Dale Terry’s untimely and unexpected passing on March 11, 2024, at his residence in Aurora, Colorado. Jermar, a mere 41 years old, leaves behind a void deeply felt by his family and friends. Jermar’s journey began on December 29, 1982, in Denver, Colorado, to his parents, Jerome D. Terry and Arlene Y. Houston-Terry. He spent his formative years in Denver, attending several private elementary schools before matriculating from Montbello High School. His thirst for knowledge led him to Aurora Community College, where he continued to expand his horizons. Jermar’s professional journey was marked by his dedication to the IT field. He gained valuable experience in various positions, primarily focusing on technical support roles in the telecommunications, healthcare, and retail industries. His expertise spanned a wide range of IT support aspects, including hardware and software installation, configuration, and maintenance. Jermar is survived by his mother, Arlene Holland, and stepfather, Corey Holland. He is also survived by his grandmother, Rosa Lee Houston; uncles, Freddie Houston Jr.(Karla), Kenneth Houston(Krystal), and Michael Terry; aunts, Shirley Thomas, Vicki Terry, and Jeanell Houston; cousins, Deron Thomas, Michelle Terry, Landry Terry Jr.(Jennifer), Launia Terry(Neem), Stephen Jackson, Lataunia Terry-Hall(Joe), Quinn Terry Raphael Terry, Lauren Houston, April Houston, and Pharoah Brooks. Jermar is remembered by his best friends, Jeff Delaney, Brittani Miller, and Misty Martinez, and friends Heidi Mortensen and Eric Spurgeon. A host of other relatives and countless friends, colleagues, and acquaintances. Jermar is preceded in death by Jerome Terry (Father), Freddie C. Houston (Maternal Grandfather), James and Geraldine Terry ( Paternal Grandparents), Landrey Terry Sr. (Uncle), Bennie Ray Graham(Uncle), and Gertrude Mitchell (Great-Grandmother). Jermar, a man of unique talents and passions, was a gifted artist who poured his creativity into drawings for his loved ones. His artistic flair matched his love for gaming, where he found camaraderie in various online gaming communities. Jermar’s fun-loving spirit and his penchant for engaging in deep conversations about life endeared him to his family and friends. Jermar’s sudden departure has left a profound void in the lives of his family and friends.
