Kevin L. Milligan

Kevin Lee Milligan was born January 3, 1960 in Denver, Colorado to the union of LaSeal and Delores Milligan. He was the first of three sons born in the family, after his older sister. Kevin knew, loved and embraced God at an early age which continued through the rest of his life. Kevin was always mischievous and had an adventurous childhood playing with his only sister and younger brothers. He enjoyed warm summer days and the snowy winters of Colorado. Kevin often said the things that his parents would not let him do actually saved his life. Kevin attended George Washington High School where he loved playing football and basketball. He was sport-oriented and enjoyed playing as well as watching. He was a huge Broncos fan and enjoyed so many other sports as well. Kevin truly enjoyed traveling and driving. He spent many years of traveling with his Uncle John or his Uncle Rodney and Aunt Hilda (Antie) and family spending time in the motor home while pulling the boat. Then later getting together to put on some good ole bbq, presenting Kevin as the chef! He was a wonderful cook. Kevin also enjoyed spending time with his daughter, Monique, going on long rides and watching her grow. In giving of himself, he spent many times assisting M and D's restaurant with food prep and just sharing the love. Also, if your furnace wasn't working you could call Kevin and he would come with a patient heart. Kevin spent his working years as a Bouncer, and working at Samsonite Luggage Corporation, Pony Express, Frito-Lay and onward to the Regional Transportation District as a driver. There was nowhere in Denver or surrounding areas that he could not tell you how to get there. His love for driving enhanced his ability to serve others. Kevin felt especially privileged to have been one of the drivers for the athletes in the 2002 Salt Lake City Winter Olympics. Kevin earned many safety awards as an accident-free driver and knew what it took to get people from one place to another safely. This was along with his various years of service awards. After 27+ years with RTD he retired and enjoyed watching sports, eating good food, listening to his favorite jazz and spending time with his friends and family. Kevin kept his faith throughout his life and said he will stick with God. He touched so many lives from just a moment in time to the long-lasting years of true friendships. He will truly be missed. Kevin went home to be with Jesus on Saturday October the 18th 2025. Kevin leaves behind his daughter Monique Seals, her mother and friend Sherri Seals, former wife Roslyn Hughes, his two brothers Keith Milligan (Donna) and David Milligan (Barbara), his beloved sister Pamela Mobley, his nieces Tamara Times and Nicole Milligan, nephews Kenneth Milligan (Julie), and beloved David "Bryant" Milligan Jr., grand nephews Jovon "Poppi" Times II, Bryce Times, and Colin Milligan, his grand niece Kayleigh Milligan, his Uncle John Milligan, and a host of cousins, relatives and friends.
